Good day,
First off I’d like to go through a couple of basic facts with you guys, who are you and why?
   V >
We're Putrefactive Disease, sick groovy death metal from Tampere, Finland.
Teemu Mäkinen (Vocs), Väinö Linnas (Guitar), Hannes Walden (Bass), Pyry Liukko (Drums).
We like to add some Rock 'n' Roll vibe to the death metal stuff. That's what we're good at!

In the event that someone hasn’t heard your music, how would you describe your style?
   V >
Sick, Groovy, Fucked Up, Rocking and Heavy shit!

You just finished your first studio recording, how was the experience for you?
   V >
It went fine, we recorded the instruments in 6 days, and one day for the mixing.

Did you go for a specific sound or did things just happen?
   V >
We aimed for the sick groove, because we like it. We don't wanna be like the most basic metal band, there's too much of those out there already. We're trying to make some own sound.

How has the public response been with the new EP compared to your previous demos?
   V >
"Raw, Live & Rotten" (our first demo) sucked ass, it was recorded with a videocamera on the rehearsal dungeon floor. People really like the EP alot more, it's much more better produced.

What are your major influences and how do you see yourself utilizing them?
   V >
The almighty Black Sabbath! We like the sound of Pungent Stench, Entombed, Autopsy and Acid Bath too, Cathedral's grooving style is also our influence.

Do you guys have any side projects or is it all effort on Putrefactive Disease?
   V >
Projectile Vomit, with members Pyry and myself. Inactive at the moment though.

Concerning the cover art of Re-Animated, that’s some strange sh*t, who’s to blame for that?
   V >
A little correction here, the EP is called "Re-Animator" and its cover art is made by Pekko Mäkilä. That's me in the picture with the panda mask and pointing the drugneedle to my head, it is influenced by the movie/novel "Re-Animator" Check it out, it's some oldschool horror stuff by H.P Lovecraft!

Do you have any running concept to your releases?
   V >
Gore, Violence, Sexual Perversions, Drug abuse.

Will you be playing gigs related to the release of Re-Animator?
   V >
Of course, any gig we're able to get we're ready to rock the shit out of that place!

Concerning your gigs, are they wild headbanging party's with giant orgies backstage?
   V >
Something like that, hopefully orgies in the future hahah.

How are you guys going to exploit the rising fame of your new EP? What are your plans concerning Putrefactive Disease?
   V >
We're planning to get big on the underground metal scene, that's our main goal!

And the end is drawing closer, any last requests?
   V >
Buy our shit! We're poor and need some money!
