This cassette has everything I like about Grunt's work. A good low end, lots of metal junk abuse sounds and not too much of high-end feedback. The vocals tend to be a bit monotone, being done on same style and lacking variety. The production is really enjoyable, the low end is good and you can make out pretty much every sound. One positive point is that the noise doesn't have any samples running with it.

The cassette is a bit too long and towards the end becomes a bit monotone. There are only few spots with vocals but when you hear the same grunts again and again without any knowledge of what they are saying they enchant the feeling of monotony. Also the fact that much of Grunt's material has used the same sounds make dwelling deeper into his discography seem somewhat pointless. The artwork is same as on the Prurient and Black Leather Jesus cassettes, dubbed on same cassette and with same covers.

There is a good and bad on this recording. Mostly I recommend this to either to fans of Grunt who has to have all his material or those who are into buying Recycled tapes. This works as good introduction to Grunt's work as any of his releases, but if you are new to noise or power electronics, I wouldn't recommend to start from Grunt as it sounds pretty different than most of noise.
