Raw black metal done right. I don't know anything about Obscüro as I got this CD in a trade. The music they play is really standard fare black metal but way above average Darkthrone worship.
Here the production is good. It is raw but every instrument is audible, expect bass, but when it comes to black metal, I don't really expect to hear it. The music shifts between faster parts and slower, more melancholic parts, both done equally good. One of the biggest problems here is that the demo is way too short. Its only ten minutes and while that is usually good time for demo or seven inch regardless of genre, this needs a way longer running time.
The artwork is simple and on my cd, bit pixelated. But it is tinted to blue which suits way better than the black and white picture I found on internet. Back cover is also blue tinted but in the inside is a band pic which is black and white. If the covers were more sharp then the artwork would be great, fitting well with the music at hand.
If you want good black metal with no new inventions, get this.Otherwise, I advice you to skip it.
