Well, this is really odd. I did a trade and wanted this as c-cassette. What I got? Well, a cd-r with c-cassette covers. What the hell is up with that? I read somewhere that the idea is that you dub the cassette yourself from the cd and probably send it to next person. I call bullshit on that.

The music itself is a bit above average black metal. The biggest problem is the production, and no, it is not something like transylvanian hunger, no. This sounds like it was recorded from cassette to cd, all muddy as hell. If this actually was cassette there wouldnt be a problem but when cd has sound of cassette it is annoying as hell. The music in itself is pretty good listen. It has good atmosphere but the band does nothing new. To someone this might be a good thing but I find it annoying to listen to new band that does everything almost exactly than other bands. Sometimes that is not too annoying when the music in itself is good but here it just shines through the music and degrades its quality. Also the drum-machine is pretty awful.

The cover artwork is standard what you would expect a bm demo/cassette to have. It shows a cheaply made image of forest with a river of blood running in middle. Other than that, its just white text on black background. It is quite boring to look at but and it doesn't even show what should be on a-side and what on b-side. Not that it matters on a CD but as it's supposed to be cassette and it's one of biggest annoyances with realeases it still annoys me here.

If you enjoy bands like Darkthrone or Azaghal you might like this. The band does nothing new but what they do they do fine. If you are looking for something groundbreaking, just let this go.
