I have fell in love with Snuff.

Here we have finnish power electronics. The record sounds like Bizarre Uproar and it's not a small comparison. The record has almost the same production as some Bizarre Uproar records. The, uh, music in itself is really good. On Good Clean Fun there are clean shouted vocals which are not disorted in any way and sound great. They are clipped by other sounds and one still cannot make anything out of them but they sound good. And as this release contains lyrics for Male Supremacy I can say that the members are not literature geniouses. While I don't expect best written lyrics from this kind of music it seems that the members chose title Male Supremacy, both wrote down one or two phrases centered around the theme, chose some of them and called it a day.

The covers in itself are really good. As the cover, there is only lyrics and the word Snuff on white background but it doesn't need anything else. On back cover there is photo which is almost completely black, taken at backyard of some apparments. After little staring one can make out a woman walking away into darkness. The creepy factor is certainly high with Snuff and only amplified by the anonymity of the members. One of the biggest griefs is still the lack of A and B side markers. While it's really small deal for me with PE-releases, its still irritating. And without lyrics you couldn't tell which side was Male Supremacy and which one Good Clean Fun. Also, the middlelabel reminds of me S.P.I.T.E - Violence vinyl release (which I still haven't received in the mail...)

If you like finnish power electronics and aren't a radical feminist, I recommend you getting this. It might not be long but it's damn good.
