Armagedom plays what they call deathcore. Don't confuse it with what usually is thought as deathcore as Armagedom is mainly punk/crossover. Both songs are carried by very simple riffs, mostly with same riff repeated through whole song. There is some soloing but otherwise the music is really straightfoward. Due to the utter simplicity of the music this record is not something for repeated listens. The production is good with every instrument being very clear and audible.
Bombenalarm side starts with some acoustic guitar. Their music isn't most original sounding like any other crust punk band, expect with better production. Both of their songs sound almost same, with second one having some atmospheric leads. The clear production doesn't save their side from being tiring after few listens.
The cover artwork is pretty good. On backcover there is no tracklist, just lyrics printed with no indication which songs are from which band. On the insert there is only promo photos of bands with contact info only for Armagedom. The tracklist is found on the middle label of the record with indication of which side is of which bands. I found the layout to be pretty confusing in overall. I don't speak German or Spanish so I don't really understand the lyrics but on the only song which has English lyrics it is obivious that Bombenalarm has something against Germany.
If you want to try Armagedom's deathcore, I would recommend getting this. Otherwise it is medicore punk record.
