Well, this will be really short one, because there really isn't that much to talk about here.
S.P.I.T.E was a solo project by Gary Mundy of Ramleh and Broken Flag (and many other of his solo projects) fame. Violence contains synth screeching on high note for the whole record, with some screaming thrown in. There is no metal clanging or other sounds found here. The production contains tape hiss and is lofi but does not take away from the music itself. Some people might prefer to hear all the frequencies but to me, crystal clear production would ruin a record this primitive. The cover artwork is extremely spartan. Front cover is white with text S.P.I.T.E on it. On backcover there is the name of the album and little info on it. There is no A and B side markers but what good would they do when there is no tracklist?
If you like Whitehouse or Ramleh, then you should check S.P.I.T.E. If you are into more modern noise/pe with such stuff as metal clanging, many different effects used in mix, then this might bore you. I personally find this an extremely enjoyable release.
